The work
Consulting concentrates experience. In a product team you might do one KRaft migration, one exactly-once design argument, one capacity crunch every few years; here they are the job. Engagements run from focused cluster reviews to months of architecture and build work inside client teams, always with senior colleagues and always in writing.
We look for engineers with real production distributed-systems time — on-call scars, an instinct for measurement over folklore, and the ability to explain a trade-off to a client in plain language. Deep Kafka experience is the obvious fit, but strong distributed-systems engineers who want to go deep on streaming are exactly who a specialist practice grows.
