Approach
Senior engineers, measured claims, reversible steps.
Hourly, senior, and scoped in conversation
All work is hourly time and materials, performed by senior US engineers. There are no fixed-price packages and no published rates: pricing that pretends every cluster is the same produces either padded quotes or corner-cutting, and we want neither. Scope, staffing, and timeline are agreed in an initial conversation, and you see where the hours go.
Findings in writing
Reviews end in written reports; designs end in documents your team owns. Anything worth changing in a production streaming platform is worth stating in a form that survives the meeting — and that your engineers can disagree with in specifics.
Ranked by production risk, including "leave it alone"
Findings are ordered by what is actually likely to hurt you, and a healthy subsystem is called healthy. A review shaped to generate follow-on work is worth less than the paper it ships on, and reads that way.
Changes are rehearsed and reversible
For migrations and upgrades: inventory before restarts, staging rehearsal before production, parallel runs where the migration allows, and a named point of no return with evidence gathered before anyone crosses it. Production learns nothing for the first time.
Vendor-neutral, in both directions
We hold no reseller agreements and take no referral fees from streaming vendors. Self-managed, Amazon MSK, or Confluent is a workload-by-workload judgment, and we have recommended — and executed — moves in both directions.
Your team gets stronger, not more dependent
We work in your repositories, your observability stack, and your review process, and we explain as we go. The engagement succeeds when your team can operate and evolve the platform without us — repeat clients come back for the next hard problem, not because they are stuck.
